Welcome to Point Park University's Tutoring and Writing Centers!
We are pleased to offer in-person and remote/online assistance for Spring 2024.
Our tutors, writing consultants, and academic coaches are here to assist you with tutoring, writing assignments, and other academic needs. To access the schedule and see the availability of tutors, please register for an account or log into your existing one. When on the scheduling page for the Tutoring Center, please access the "Show All 'Limit to:' Options" drop-down menu to see the course coverage we offer during the semester. Select a course from the "Show All 'Limit to;' Options" drop-down menu to access the schedule of the tutor who covers that subject.
Tutoring Services makes a reasonable effort to meet the tutoring needs of students in a wide variety of courses. However, we may not be able to honor every request due to limited tutor availability or inability to locate a qualified tutor.
The Tutoring Center and Writing Center are closed whenever the University is closed and during Spring Break.
Please upload any documents you need to review during your session; you can upload documents when you make your appointment.
Online Writing Submissions
Students also can submit assignments/papers for review to our online writing service without having to meet with a writing consultant by following these steps:
- Log in to PointWeb.
- Click on the Students tab at the top.
- Click on the University Advising Schedule folder.
- Click on Tutoring Services dropdown menu.
- Click on Online Writing Request.
- Complete the form.
- Attach your document(s) in Word format.
- Click Submit.
You will receive feedback within two business days of your online writing submission.
